It was discussed but decided it would be abused if memory recalls correctly, you can click on the * beside thanks, a new box will open asking to add to the posters reputation with 2 options, approve and dis-approve (select this one), this will take away from a posters rep points and if done enough times the coloured boxs will disappear and red ones for negative start to appear. But you can only give the same poster negative rep once..

How about I don't agree or no thanks... I am basically lazy anymore and would rather not have to actually type but instead just hit a button saying ........... no thanks

I just tried that but I got amessage that said ' you have given out enough reputation for one day try again in 24 hours' I have thanked quite a few today... so I can thank until the cows come home but thats it I suppose.
