It was discussed but decided it would be abused if memory recalls correctly, you can click on the * beside thanks, a new box will open asking to add to the posters reputation with 2 options, approve and dis-approve (select this one), this will take away from a posters rep points and if done enough times the coloured boxs will disappear and red ones for negative start to appear. But you can only give the same poster negative rep once..

I just tried that but I got amessage that said ' you have given out enough reputation for one day try again in 24 hours' I have thanked quite a few today... so I can thank until the cows come home but thats it I suppose.

i tried it out on this quoted post (as I was reading) just to get the options to show and they didn't. Only said something about having to share the love before I add any more to your rep, so consider yourself big upped!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, unfortunately there are limitations, I don't know what the ratio is as it is set by the site admin, you must have given me rep or the poster you were testing on in the past and that's why it is not allowing you a second time, that's why I said you can only do it once, positive or negative doesn't matter.. but thanks anyway
