There was still quite a lot of military presence when I was there. I was very young, so memories are quite vague, but I did love it. I was mainly between Lisburn and Londonderry though and only shopped in Belfast. I do remember the shopping being good and bought my favourite pair of boots there, that I hung on to for years before they fell apart. I also remember a restaurant where they cooked the food in front of you after you had chosen what you wanted to eat, was it Mongolian (for anyone who was around back then). I have craved warm wheaten bread quite often, but never had it in the UK, as it isn't likely to be as good as the real thing, so hopefully will get a chance to have some of that when I am over there.
Yes I am real, least I was last time I looked. I do have some FRs and stuff so can be checked out, but that isn't really why I was posting. I was feeling a little glum by the end of the chat and left early wondering if I was doing the right thing. I am listening to the advice though and thank you to everyone. I'll just take it with a pinch of salt next time.
