I think you should do it in a Swedish realist mode, you staring at the phone waiting for it to ring, Knock on the door, guy with stubble standing there, lots of endless staring into the distance, alot of angst, one sentence spoken every three minutes. Subtitles would be good and it should last at least 3hrs. that should get them flocking in !
