the random deletion of posts & threads closed discussions perfectly reasonable & non confrontational at times has lessened my interest in posting these days Taking away members posts or threads is blatant censorship I understand that moderators have a job thankless at times but whats the point of having a website thats supposed to support the free exchange of ideas/opinions when we are all walking on egg shells while moderators have their hand on the trigger I know my opinion dont matter a shit as it is pointless arguing with a moderator but there are too many decisions made which are not adequately explained remember posters make this Community & need to be respected as such without them this website will lose its popularity...

I have said it before ExP, there are times when the mods are too trigger happy, and then there are times when I think something has gone too far and nothing is done. As you say, it's a thankless task at times, being a moderator, but common sense needs to prevail more.

A few times recently I've seen threads closed with comments like "That's all we have to say on the matter." If that's all they have to say then fine, they should stop replying to the thread. But closing it really means "That's all you have to say on the matter."
