Question- did you have an actual appointment booked for a certain time?

It seems to me that your OP was clearly just a rant at a particular escort. It isn't some random general thing you just thought of.
The fact is this:
Escorting is a job. A busy one. Sometimes an escort doesn't have time to speak to her close friends and family never mind a customer. As a "friend" you don't expect to much from someone and understand that it's not always they will be avaliable to talk.
Your point about mutual respect is a valid one everyones time is important but everything else just seems like something you should be telling a therapist.
