Fonduman please accept my sincere apologies. The reasons our appointment didn't take place have all been stated in this thread already but I like to speak for myself to clear up any misunderstanding here.

I remember your phone call clearly. You sounded extremely distracted and I had to repeat myself several times. I'm sure anybody could appreciate that you sounded like an absolute time waster, not a very convincing one at that. Now I understand your reception was terrible but that wasn't apparent from my end at the time. So when you were late calling to confirm, I accepted another appointment.

So I really am sorry for the way you feel but this could have been avoided if you'd made more of an effort with communication.

A little question: If you didn't want to damage my reputation, Im at a loss as to why you've mentioned my name in this thread??? Isn't this damaging too?

That was my first thought, I am sure not the only one that was thinking "disgruntled" as a motive.

There are so many threads about time wasters here lately that explain the situation today fully. If a potential client wont play by the rules, how can I expect him to turn up? I don't know anything about the client other than he didn't sound interested when he made the appointment, I'm sure I pointed this fact out whilst on the phone too.
If I happen to have another gentleman requesting an appointment at the same time, I'd ask him to call 25 mins before the appointment and check whether I'm available. This is common practice. My original appointment was a no show as far as I was concerned.

I don't want to sound so blase about the situation because it doesn't feel good that I have a gent who's not happy with me.

I can't see how it would be damaging unless you did something specificaly wrong, and I didn't see how you could have.

If I seemed distracted it was a mixture of nerves, being barely able to hear anything from my phone, and a couple of questions caught me slightly off guard lol. When you first picked up I wasnt completely sure I had the right number, I assumed if you didn't act confused when I asked for a "booking" then it'd be right, but then when you asked "what type of booking?" I was taken slightly aback, I was thinking "what other types of bookings are there? Maybe I've phoned a doctors surgery by mistake or something" so I started saying "um, the usual I suppose" then suddenly realised you meant how long a booking, kinda changed mid-sentence.

So, it just sounded like miscommunication, sorry about that, and I can appreciate in combination with my late calling that you acted very reasonably.

Threads like this can damage an escort rep and as you said it was mis communication you might request E-I to delete this thread, if you look at the who's on line page that lists what people are reading you always see people reading threads that are years old and this one could be a factor in invalidly costing this escort lost bookings long into the future.

Is it really damaging anyone's reputation? I don't think so. Almost no one will read it, as with most threads here, and I think all of those who do will understand what happened. Fonduman, being new at this, didn't realise that this country is full of strange men who call escorts to book appointments and then don't show up. So he didn't see much difference between calling 30min before or 20min before. In addition, I'm sure he sounded nervous on the phone. Who wouldn't on his first call to an escort? Alex, who by now must be painfully aware of how many timewasters there are here, has developed some defences against them, and fonduman got caught in those. I don't think anyone's reputation will be harmed by this thread, but it might be useful to people starting out who don't know how things work yet.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

i think if anyone actually reads the whole thread it wont be damaging at all, both parties have been amicable....so i dont think alex needs to worry.

When an issue has been proven invalid I think its better to remove it, particularly when its in the important sections such as this one, people can read first post and not bother going further and I have seen people read very old threads and pointless threads at that many times over, reading 7 year old escorts posts in the advertising section??? the escort may not have been active for all that time so whats the point in reading her saying come and get me boys - mullingar all 2004 ???

This tread wont harm her rep to the people who read past the first post but is it worth taking that risk when its been shown invalid.

Thread should stand, this is a discussion forum, this thread is a discussion. Censorship is the thin end of the wedge.
