I am compulsive by nature. If I want a choccy, dont give me one ,I'll eat half or all of the box ! When I am "in the zone" then I'm in trouble and when I spot someone I really want to see,I am near powerless !!

Been punting a long time now Luce , I enjoy everything about it , had a break for a few years and had no problems , came back and still enjoy so for me it's a hobby , but some with addictive personalities might have a different experience .:

Straight up I can tell you that it's an addiction for me. It's nothing remotely near anything like a hobby and I know this because after every punt I usually say never again. But the next one comes and I say never again, again. So it's definately a compulsion.

I think a stage comes in life where most of your time goes on seeing to the needs of others, be that your boss, your wife, your children, your other family members and more. This activity is the best way I know of to spend time on me and me only. Nobody but me benefits from it and I'm very possessive of it. To the point of addiction I guess.
