Choosing style of photos for profile or album

What are the factors which the girls take into account when deciding how they wish to have themselves portrayed in a photo shoot for pics for their profile /album.?

Do the ladies take any advice or do they basically decide themselves ? Does the person taking the pics have an influential role ? Should or do the girls ask the advice or opinion of guys on what men woould like to see in the photos ? Is there much of a process involved or is much of it done on the hoof ?

I asked a few escorts this same question and it depends on the type of client they attract. Most go for the semi naked, underwear shots as that attracts the majority. I personally prefer the elegant stye .......

You will notice lots of shots taken in the kitchen lately so a new photographer must be doing the rounds. Self taken shots in the appartment usually put me off.

I'd guess the chosen poses depend on what the escort's best features are. A good photographer will know how to portray them in the most advantageous way.

I think a bit of homemade is ok. It gives the authentic vibe to the escort.

It's a mixed bag. I'm sure a lot of ladies liked to be very involved in their photoshoots bringing their own ideas, clothing and sometimes even providing a location. However some ladies will just go with the standard shoot a photographer gives. Occasionally they even provide clothing!
Both have there advantages. I like to tailor a shoot for myself as I prefer pin up style photos than full on glamour. I also like to hire my own location so I can have different backrounds. However going for a standard studio shoot can be benificial too. Clients can tell that the photos are genuine as many girls have got them. Less likely to be stolen of some porn site lol.

In regards to home photos I have a few which I use on another site and have as an album on EI. I personally don't like the look of them so much purely as them camera quality isn't as good etc. However I find a lot more clients believe these photos as they are clearly not airbrushed although my profesional ones aren't either.

Well, I never have professional pictures taken, so I expect my answer to be a little on the extreme here.

I have a good amateur camera, which is suppose to have quite good pixels, however it never shows, regarding of what settings I am using. I am just asking a friend to take the pics. I am giving all the directions I find appropriate, as he is really not the photograph material.

I cannot fully smile in my pics as it's really hard work to be relaxed while telling someone what to do. Also, I usually start posing and smiling and then I am waiting a little too long for the shooter, by that time my smile is forced or I'm blinking After about 30 minutes, I have not much patience left, so if I need to change my outfits, I really need a long break in between.

Many times I was thinking I deserve better pictures but it was never the right time to do them. For a while, I was hoping I can lose some weight before I do them. Then I had some very unpleasant experiences with my hair and changed my usual blonde for colours that I cannot stand more then a month or so (dark black, vibrant red, dark purple). My hair is now quite short, as in my avatat or the pic with the short black boots on my profile, taken just 3 days ago. As I intend to let my hair grow, I don't want to invest in pics that won't show me how I plan to be in the nearest future. Of course, I can just wear a wig, I got a few nice ones but the truth is that a wig never looks natural on me and I don't want to invest in pics that make me look like a drag queen (no offence to all drag queens out there). And what happens if my professional pics with me wearing a wig look very good and they attract a lot of visitors ... who will probably be disappointed to see a short haired lady welcoming them for an appointment? Of course, I can wear a wig for the appointment too, but this is not as easy as it sounds.

Women stuff, I swear ... they are so hard. I'm normally a simple person and I think my best look is when I am natural, with plenty of light, when I smile and I laugh. I never knew how to look good in pictures and I think this comes from my childhood. I had very few pics taken when I was under 18 and in most of them I dreaded the moment. My mother will cut my fringe in a horrific way anytime she knew I have to take pics for school or for my artistic activities I was involved in at the time. For me, pics have only been horrific mementos of the times I looked my worst and this baggage is very hard to throw away now when trying to pose sexily.

If I am still escorting when my hair grows slightly longer, I will have those professional pics finally done. If it takes a bloody day to shoot them, I will make sure I have at least 6 good pics !!!

The part I highlight goes both ways, I have seen the same 5 or 6 settings used here, must be easily 50 times, almost all by agency listed profiles, mostly all not verified and most all proven by fake pic reports so yes when the escort is verified and known etc then what you say is right but the opposite is also right, if I see the same pic of a 1950's car poster on the wall behind an escort on dodgy profiles here I think I will scream.

Not sure if I understand this. Take a selection of 25 year old escorts in Dublin. Are they not basically all targetting the same market --- clean , respectfull , etc,etc ?

Yes and No.
I for example offer what they call a "GFE"- French kissing and the like. Some offer a "PSE" which is a lot more hardcore. Photos probably reflect that. A guy looking for a full on pornstar experience isn't that likely to call an escort in pink lace lingerie, pigtails who is sitting cutely on a bed (some might of course!). And a guy looking for a girlfriend experience isn't that likely to call an escort who has full nude photos, in rather graphic positions wearing chains lol

Thanks Ebony and Amy. Yes, the age old problem of the reliabilty and honesty of the photo. But lets take that as a given, how do you decide on what type of photos to take ? Do you ask guys/clients you can trust, as they are primarily your target market, or do you basically decide what you feel good in yourself and what you personally find attractive ?
