Ugly Betty would make me think twice even if the pics were great, otherwise names don't have an influence on me. It's always good if they are pronounceable.
here's an aid for those new escorts at a loss for ideas.

I'd like to think it's not about the name but as Morpheus says more about the Profile. Amber is a name I have always used (I think it sounds pretty lol) but when I came to Ireland I put good ole "Ebony" in front of it for clarification. You'd be surprised the amount of calls I got being like "are you black? are you mixed race? are you indian?!".
I do find it funny how some of us black ladiees have "Ebony" as part of our names. Imagine if all the white ladies started calling themselves "Ivory Sophie" and "Ivory Clare" haha.
p.s usernames make an impression on me! if i get a pm for an appointment from someone with the username "cum_on_a_slut" there isn't a chance in hell i'm going to give it to them!

I agree completely and often wondered how sad it is that an "ebony" lady feels she has to do that if for no other reason then avoiding all the types of calls you mention, its a bit depressing tbh as to how this nation still must be but aside from that bigger picture Ebony Amber has a nice rhyming flow to it even if scientifically not possible to get Amber of that hue

I love your name too and I was considering it before changing my name Only it would have made me look really bad, like I am trying to steal something of you (which of course I would not ... not to mention I could not ).
The Oasis song "Lyla" (just a little different spelling of your name) is stucked in my head for years. Layla / Lyla sounds warm, inviting, feminine and playful.
Video, not as nice, but music and lirics are very inspiring, maybe you can make a video using this music ???
"Calling all the stars to fall
And catch the silver sunlight in your hands
Come for me and set me free
Lift me up and take me where I stand
She believes in everything
And everyone and you and yours and mine
I've waited for a thousand years
For you to come and blow me out my mind
Hey, Lyla!
The stars are about to fall
So what d'you say, Lyla?
The world around us makes me feel so small, Lyla!
If you can't hear me call then I can't say, Lyla!
Heaven'll help you catch me if I fall
She's the queen of all I've seen
And every song and city far and near
Heaven help my mademoiselle
She rings the bell for all the world to hear
Hey, Lyla!
The stars are about to fall
So what d'you say, Lyla?
The world around us makes me feel so small, Lyla!
If you can't hear me call then I can't say, Lyla!
Heaven'll help you catch me if I fall

I love the name Layla I also thought of using it in the beggining.
A little of topic but I recently found a black lady in London using my real name. Now my real name isn't Sarah or Sue or anything quite so simple. She is also the same kinda build, look and lives in my area!
I really want to email her nicely and ask her to change it lol.
