Lol. I'm serious actually, it may be my imagination but I seem to recall seeing a few things mentioned recently and know of one case where a girl had a spot of bother and I'm not convinced she was at fault.
I'm a grown up of course and accept that she could be telling me fibs but I'm not convinced.

It could all be in my imagination of course.

Well Jesus Christ, FFS. That explains a thing or two to me.

Of course it's not nice for anyone to have their account hacked and what not. But let me pose a question to you Sam.

Say ficticious "Ms. X's" account is hacked and the hacker gets up to no good with it. In the course of their getting up to no good they reach out to a genuine (but ficticious in this example) user "Mr. Y" whose account has not been hacked. As a result of certain interactions between Ms. X and Mr. Y, he (Mr. Y) is made to look like he did something to Ms. X which he didn't do, and for his trouble gets a good swift kick up the hole from the mods, before the mods realised it was a hacking issue.

What's the policy for dealing with that ? As in, is there any restoration of Mr. Y's good name for example, irrespective of whether the whole incident was in the public domain or not ?

This is exactly why we have to take our time when investigating things. You have just illustrated the complexities of a situation.

The main thing to remember is that this is someone's livelihood here. It's important not to label somebody until the facts are looked over. Once somebody's reputation is tainted, there will always be doubt no matter what the explanation is afterwards, and as a consequence, some of these escorts try to create a fresh profile, they are spotted, reviews/reputation transfered and so on.

People judge too quickly, and sometimes information that is linked from one person to another can also be misconstrued. It's a very delicate matter.

Or indeed the other way round? i.e. would Ms X's account be restored if someone had got up to no good with it?
    (Sorry Mellors)

Everything you said - I totally agree with and thank you. Unfortunately none of it answered my question on whether Mr. Y's name gets restored or not.

In the spirit of what you said re. it being people's livelihoods at stake, the answer to my question is insignificant because nothing that happens on this site affects my livelihood. So with that in mind I'm not going to ask it again. Let's leave it there.

Actually Sam may I ask one more question ? Is Denise expected back, either with her old user name or a new one ?

This is a genuine question. She's missed on here.

    Ta.

Sorry fella... I wasn't evading the question, my trail of thought went of on a tangent.

To answer your question, if we realised the circumstances around this situation, we would not have a problem coming forward and making a public apology/redemption on behalf of the escort. It is a very hypothetical question, and to be honest, I'm sure other factors would sway this in a much more complex dimension as things often go, but we hope that this doesn't happen in the first instance.

As for your second question, I know Denise's tour finishies soon, so to be honest, I don't know, but she is welcome back anytime as I've said before
