E-I logo is applied automaticly to each photo, this is how this section is designed Kerry. System is not choosing to apply it only to verified pics.

I think kerry is asking WHY is the system designed like that in the first place ?

they say it's to protect people from robbing images, but IMO it makes the images look as if they were passed by E-I as verified, people not fully offay with the site might get confused. Also it makes it harder to use a reverse image search to spot fakes.

I think mainly the reason for watermark was to prevent people from coping/stealing pics from profiles. It s a common practice on few websites I looked at. Now, somebody mentioned that it is confusing as watermark might mean pics are verified. Well , that why each profile has a separate mark to identify if pics are genuine or not ( red cross or green tick).

i've gone through this with Samlad before, the main problem with the watermark is that when you do a "reverse image search" to see if the pic is being used on another site. The watermark ends up confusing the search engine and it results in loads of images from E-I being shown, it can sometimes make it almost impossible to find escorts using fake photos even when you know they are fake (using pornstars images)

On the other hand, it proves useful for when pictures are being stolen from escorts advertising with us and they aer being used on other sites.

Why can it not be stipulated that no pics go up on the site until they are verified ? By putting the E-I stamp on the photo it can give the unwary the impression that the pics are ok subject only to some procedural red tape.
