Lightbulb A request to all punters :)

Please please please don't come to the door with the fone to your ear...... way too obvious!!
When we find a nice discreet apartment we want to keep it and lads roaming around looking lost with fones to their ears can mess things right up for us.
Take a breath be calm and listen to the directions given. Sit in your car and even write them down, go over them with the lady until you feel you know exactly where your going.

I'm a bit worried with my new location because i've had a few lads come to the door with fones at their ears asking the obvious questions even though i've asked them not to. My place is easy peasy to find and get into and its quite small and quiet... i dont know why people have any trouble with finding and getting into it.

It's just a wee request and also for you guys to realize how important it is so we can keep our good locations.

Good point Fiona, most of us lads like to blend in aswell, however a lot of escorts make it difficult. Asking you to phone when you get to the front door to give you access codes, why they won't text them I don't know (safety?). These entry doors frazzle my brain, especially if traffics going by, so your there on the phone trying to get the bloody door to buzz and look inconspicuous at the same time
Come in she said "I'll give you shelter from the storm "

This has been covered a lot.

There are many reasons directions are difficult to follow over the phone.

So here is my advice. Create some clear directions you can copy into a text.

Start with a landmark, specify which way we should be facing when we start and take it from there.

Then try the directions out for yourself, realise how crap they were even though you thought they were foolproof and start again.

Seriously a text with directions and buzzer instructions, floor and apartment number are a good idea. And u don't need to send it until the client rings from the landmark.

    Xx

U make a good point but u could also be slightly paranoid, i mean if a friend of mine moves into a new apt u could easily be doing the same thing, delivery men etc...its only suspicious looking to the people involved. I dont think passers by take any notice at all.

I agree with you Celtic. I used to live in an appartment which needed an access code to get into. A lot of people visiting me would call me at the door requesting the access code. It happens all the time.
If I see someone at a gate/door with a mobile phone to his ear I don't automatically assume he's going to see an escort.

I agree with the text, but this text cannot be sent to everybody calling to make an appointment..
I have a problem: I have a location (a park) right next my apart and I always ask the client to get there before giving the number&the bell in order to be sure who and how many are coming (I watch through the window to be sure before giving all the details to purchase to my apart door).. So ,obviously, the text is out of discussion for me,I look careful for my security as long as I am independent and nobody else (beside my partner) inside to protect me!!!

But there are some people with little other to do than to look out their window , and those are the people that Fiona may have been thinking of when she created the thread . All it takes is 1 nosey neighbour to see a pattern develop each day , and no doubt they will stay watching 'till the guy leaves , and over time they will have a good enough idea of what's going on to start blabbin their gob off to others in the premises .
I have no signature at the moment

Understood Fiona, I see your point. I will listen more carefully to directions in future

Since some have mentioned the curse of the keypad, I had a nitemare on one occasion. Lady gave me code over the phone and call ended. Up I go to the keypad, and didn't work. Tried calling and no answer, so just stood there looking up at the side of the building, wondering what to do. Tried keypad again, nothing. Tried calling, no answer. Wondered what to do for another minute, was about to walk away when my phone rings. It's the lady I'm trying to get in to see, all snotty and irritated. Gives me the code again and hangs up. I tried the code - carefully - didn't work.

Again I started walking away, she calls me again, even snottier and more irritated, mumbled something about how thick I was and said stay there, I'm coming down.

So down she came, and UNLOCKED the door from the INSIDE using one of those manual knob turn things on the lock.

So ...... now who's stupid ????? Funny she didn't apologise or anything.
