I believe in fate, I believe that what we do, who we meet and where we are is not coincidence, but predestined to be. If you meet a certain someone at the right time under the ideal circumstances, it's not coincidence.

Mmmm...very deep Anny. People have spent their lives trying to decipher these mysteries.
I don't believe in coincidence.
I do believe in a higher power (God) controlling and influencing - and I guess thats what some refer to as destiny.
On the other hand I also believe that we have a significant amount of free choice/ will.
The two concepts seem contradictory but I believe that they co-exists.
At the end of the day. I don't think any of us will fully understand it in this lifetime.

I'm a great believer in Karma, what goes around comes around etc. If you do wrong to someone it will come back and bite you in the arse.
Many, many years ago for e.g. a fella got me unjustly fired from a job, he set me up to fall basically. Six years later I was entirely coincidentally presented with an opportunity to do the same to him. End result was I lost a job and recovered but he lost an entire career. Served him right, fcuking twat.

I like what Morpheus says. Covers pretty much what I would say. I will add the following:
Life is a journey and it is about the choices we make along the path that we take. It is up to us to make the most of the opportunities that present themselves. HOWEVER, and this is where the social and economic disparity pops up: our ability to make choices is absolutely based on upbringing, education, family ties, income, etc.
