Help me out here, lads from Cork. How would you explain the word Langer to someone ? As in definition of it ?

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.

Perfect.... Some tips on Langer usage...

preceed the term with 'Go way ya' to make sure you are telling you client to 'feck off'...as in 'go way ya langer'

extending the word adds more insult and disgust ....as in 'go way ya laaaaanger'

saying this expression with tongue in cheek is considered a complimenmt or even friendly. Caution: only usually works said from one corkonian to another. (bit like Ni**er from one black to another).

That is very difficult as the meaning varies greatly depending on what context it is used

I'm not a Corkonian but have lived here for nearly 20 years. Its a word of exclusive Cork origin and has several meanings, depending on context.

    1) Penis: I've got a huge langer, boy.

    2) Foolish person: You're some langer, boy.

    3) To be intoxicated: He was langers, boy.

    Hope this helps
