I use both Eircom and Vodafone 3G and I wasn't able to access the site at all yesterday.

By the way it was nothing to do with browser caching as I tried pinging www.escort-ireland.com as well and I got no response. Also, I would have thought that if the problem was DNS caching by the ISP that there would have been some response to the ping..

I have done the reboot a few times. It does seem to work but not always and the problems are intermittent, so it's difficult to say whether it solves the issue.

Interestingly I had a lot of problems earlier when I was using 3G via O2.
But it still worked intermittently, so i don't think they were blocking content. I hope not. It's a work phone and I manage the contract with them !!!!

Now I'm on Eircom broadband and having no issues at all.

Ping not always gives a response, some providers do block ping facilities.
In terms of not showing some of the pictures, I have noticed that using the full url including www does help.
Please try restart your computer or flash DNS, that might help in cases that the Irish providers have woke up and updated their DNS records. Switch Off/On phones can help too.

What we are trying to do here is find out who is having problems and resolve those problems.

I'd like to keep this thread strictly on this topic please, no other chat, there are other threads people can chat on about this issue generally, but here we just want problems reported and then IT staff to look at each problem reported and try to resolve it.

    Thank you

E-I has just been running very slow on two or three evenings this week, sometimes it won't let you log on at all. I'm also getting a problem uploading my pictures, after I've used paint on them, I never ever had a problem before, it just gives the red exclamation mark, it's a bugger, as my pictures are so talented.

Where exactly is it happening?? Is it when you uploading to a post, the gallery or the blog?

I hit the attachements button, I click add files, I then hit select files, it goes into my downloads, or I can have it my pictures.
I try to upload and it rejects it showing the file, size and the red exclamation mark. I've never had any problems before.

I've been having that problem all month. It will work it you use the basic uploader option to the right of the select files button. Its the only way I can get it to work. Try that.
