    Default Segways

I noticed someone has started Segway tours around Galway city recently. I saw some buzzing around Eyre Sq tonight as I took my regular stroll. Almost killed me heh heh!!

Good, innovative idea but I can't see how anyone could make money from such a venture.

    Am I wrong?

Heard about that. Also heard it was very expensive to go on the tour .....

I'd say the cost of insurance must be mental.

I mean insurance for the tour operator. Public liability and what have ya ... can't you just imagine all the bloodied noses and broken teeth of those who've never been on such a contraption before jumping on one, getting over confident and smashing their face off the pavement by leaning forward too much ?!

When I get planning permission for my "Let's Hunt And Kill People We Don't Like" theme park, I think I'll give Segways to some of the prisoners. I imagine looking down an iron sight, trying to get a bead on someone on a Segway, and, well, I smile.

just reading some of the blurb on the companies site about them being eco-frieldly tours, they mention Segways don't need fossil fuels blah blah blah!!!

Do the morons that write that stuff not realise that the majority of Ireland electricity is from the burning of fossil fuels? Which leads to on to the idiots that say the same about electric cars etc.

In order to meet this country's energy needs, I propose we hook stupid people up to generators and systematically drain them of their life energy.

I hope you're planning on burning their lifeless bodies after stage one, to reap more "green energy"
