Default Hobbies favourite pastimes, care to share ?

Well I'm after booking a trip to Whistler, Canada. To go mountainbiking this summer.
It's a ski resort first and foremost but during the summer it opens up the slopes to mountainbikes, you even get to use the ski lifts to get up to the top, so it's all downhill fun

So anyone else mountainbike ? or what do you do, other than work

    My favourite MTB Quotes :

When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day's sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay's call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else's heart. ~Diane Ackerman

Life is like riding a bicycle - in order to keep your balance, you must keep moving. ~Albert Einstein

The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you'll crash. ~Julie Furtado

Last summer, a younger guy I sometimes work with persuaded me to try surfing, something I hadn't done since a teenager.Great fun, tho more like body boarding and splashing around in the shallow end than proper surfing.
Come in she said "I'll give you shelter from the storm "

Mine has to involve 6 or 12 strings and an amp or something wet and cold in a pint glass although my red wine collection is coming on.
