    Interesting Wired article - cites a stat that Facebook is where NYC prostitutes find 1 in 4 of their return clients...wonder how that compares to IRL?

    just saw this response to the Wired article in Salon?

    The girls who responded here say the FB connection is a load of BS and take issue with other contentions from Wired.
    not too surprising- much of the Wired thing seemed a bit hyped up- to be fair to Sudhir Venkatesh ( the sociologist whose work, a large part of the Wired piece focuses on), the media has taken much (of his findings) out of context & juiced it up.
