It depends what you call extreme but because most of my appointments are impulsive at least 80% of them are booked 1 hour or less in advance

Thats pretty impulsive. But then again probably 80% of mine are booked with a few hours notice but I am known to call an hour in advance at times. Actually I once caught my cock making a call from my mobile. Talk about initiative.

Normally like tp PM a few times first if possible, then phone 3/4 hrs in advance as to confirm and find out general area,helps with the anticipation ! Having said that i have for the first time ever recently pencilled in an appt one month in advance
