    I seriously doubt Thin Lizzy would have had the great sound they had had it not been for Gary! Thanx Gary for rockin as hard has you did

    He had more success as a solo artist really. Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham created the famous duel guitar harmony sound.

    Gary Moore stood in for one or both of them on a couple of big tours and I think may have played on one of the later albums.

    I'm not an expert. There was a documentary on BBC4 a couple of weeks ago !

    He was a brilliant guitarist though and he also replaced phil lynott on vocals for some later lizzy tribute concerts after lynott died.

    And only 58. A real shame.
