my theory for waht its worth is that some irish guys have confidence / self image issues
i dont know why? maybe catholic / church influence/guilt, maybe irish physche
personally i am supremely confident in myself and many areas of life, however i can bequite shy with girls; (one of the reasons i like this place) for some this is attractive and for others its a turn off
example (and be honest we have all done it!)
when irish ppl see a really confident person we usually think,
