You believe nothing should be done?
I didn't say nothing, but torture is not an answer despite it's attractions.
Where do you then draw the line?

I think torture is only justified if you book yourself in for a heavy session of BDSM
I feel that this is something that may be lurking in the back of your mind Danny, maybe you should try it....

    Its a hard one
    Morally its a no no
But realisticly its a tool for extracting information

Its just where do you draw the line
The Americans use torture but there are not too picky when it comes to suspects
as in a lot of innocents get tortured too just in case they may know something.

However I feel the likes of rendition should be stopped
If they cant do it in thier own country they should be prevented from doing it in another

Too much is tolerated in this world I think people who murder another human being paedophiles & those who repeatedly cause serious crime collectively should be Tortured before being Gassed....

A point raised to a politician who supported waterboarding was, that, if it is acceptable, how come it is not allowed by police forces in the US.

We can always try to justify torture by referring to extreme examples whereby torture is carried out for the greater good.
The problem occurs however when torture is allowed in these 'extreme' cases. It doesn't take long before the initial high standard slips and persons are tortured for less heinous crimes.
We only have to look back at history to see what happens once torture is permitted.

Would I torture someone to protect my family? Yes.

    Should it be allowed? No.
