    Smile Canon 550d SLR

    Just got my new Canon 550d SLR and dear god the power at my fingertips now, anyone here have an SLR..!!

    me but don't really know how to use it so gave it to my mother, i'm sticking with me standard digital cam

    i have a canon eos digital
    have it for 6 years now
    bloody lenses are expensive though

    You can get adaptors to let you use 35mm lenses (most brands) with them, no autofocus or aperture control though. If you look on the like of ebay, you'll find loads of 200mm/135mm lenses - cheaply - they'll magnify maybe 2 x more than they would in a 35mm frame.

    Have one at work, too big for everyday snapping, great if you are going to use it for amateur photography IMO

    Yes I love them. I have Canon 5D mark II and it is amazing .... :-)

    I have a 18/55mm & 55/200mm lenses which is cool and thanks for the tips
