After 269 posts you become addicted, as for the shiny badge, have a read of this thread

Actually, Anon, I think it's at 250 posts - you are 'becoming addicted', 500 posts - you are 'addicted' and at 1000 posts - 'certified addicted'

The 269 posts gets you entry to the established members lounge, though some members got that because of length of 'service' without passing the required quota.
