    Default Gay marriages?

It seems that attitudes are changing in the UK as three senior Conservative ministers have dropped any opposition to plans that will allow gay marriages in England and Wales.

Ministers believe that gay marriages will 'strengthen the institution of marriage'.

As we know, divorce rates are on the up and up and couples are living together with no plans of wedlock, so why not? Apparently, the majority of Britons back the idea of gay marriage anyway.

    No problems...people are people.

But in no way should the Church be forced to marry gay people. Freedom of expression works both ways

I do agree with you there, however gay couples should at least be allowed to marry in registry offices or any other non-religious institution.

I am completely with you here.

There is an issue of whether people will 'get married' to earn married couples tax breaks...big tax con on the way
