For each European nation, Eastern Europe begins just beyond its borders. The Portuguese probably think it begins in Spain.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Was in the middle of saying the same thing earlier but I got distracted, they have a different sense of humour but once you get your head around it they are as much fun as anyone else, of course there are a few with their head stuck up their arse like any nation but who wants to hang with those people anyway ...

Danny you can be a funny fecker sometimes but this post is unnecesary, Irish/English humour doesn't travel well. Play on words puns etc don't work if English isn't your natural language

It is a different sense of humour entirely but it is most certainly there.

I know that one of the reasons that I enjoy seeing Escorts from that part of the world is that I very often share a laugh with them.

I'm not Irish but I was aware long before I came here that Irish humour is unique. I find it funny but I can understand why many people just do not get it.

In my observation, it's more a cultural thing- most english speakers in the anglosphere outside of N.America "get" IRL/UK just fine- wheiter they find it funny is another story...
I'm Irish but live here in the States- sense of humor(sic) is different ... but probably not quite in the way many Irish people seem to think- not going into detail here .. but yer average yank gets irony just fine- how they respond may be different..
I've friends from S.America who seem to really gel with Irish humour even though English is a second language for them..

personally i find most cz/slovak girls get the irish SOH, the worst i find are the girls who say they are from italy but probably come form rom or somewhere, ive noticed they are more short on the fone, tend to be rudr and def not service oriented, maybe a generalisation, but based on experience!
