What are your thoughts on pixelated photos on escorts profiles?

I feel that if an escort can't supply crystal clear hi-res images for her profile pics than they are fakes. I say this as I have seen too many photos on the site where they have been obviously lifted from some other place then cropped and resized. By supplying the hi-res images, although not foolproof it might cut down on the amount of fake photos in the listings. It would also make life easier to find fakes by using a reverse image search as they would be better matched.

Finally, can I just say that I am not talking about a bit of bluring on the face etc to protect an escorts privacy but when a whole photo is messed up. I am also aware that image sizes were recently increased and as such some pixelation occurred but this was going on well before that.

I take your point, but bear in mind EI upped the size of all pics by a few pixles recently, so all existing photos will be stretched unless the escort re-submits new ones to fit the new frame..

I agree, any picture thats blown up so large you can see the pixel or pixel groupings rings alarm bells. The cheapest camera phone will take a good picture even if the lightings a bit dark. These pixelated ones are lifted from social network profiles or pornsite thumbnails and when blown up to ei size this is what you get.

Your right and wrong at the same time. Yes the pic you see on the profile if its the pre size increase one will be like you say but when you open that same one in its own page it reduces to old size and that slight bluriness disapears. When you do the same thing with pics uploaded after this size change they stay the same size.

But if an escort revisits her Profile and resubmits her pics again, but now resizing them down to fit the new frame they will not be pixilated. All escorts photos are usually a lot larger than the profile frame allow and are down sized to fit.

obviously not being an escort I don't know exactly how the E-I photo submit system works, but most sites when you upload a photo to them will automatically resize the image to fit their standards. In E-I's case it's width=260 & height=360 (pixels). If the original photo is smaller than these sizes then the image will be pixelated. As googleplex mentions above even the worst camera phones on the market have a better resolution than that.

Your mixing bluriness with pixelation, they are two different things, Monsters thread here is about pixelation. The pics of Vanessa you linked to are just slightly blurred due to being forced to expand to met the new bigger size, they are not pixcelated.
