I think it does make a difference. But bear in mind you have a high profile on this site,so any time I've looked at your profile, I've never looked at your age. I had a good idea from your pics what you look like and would trust they were recent in your case.

I think a lot of girls subtract a few years from their real age, so I usually try to gauge from the pics moreso.

If I saw someone with an age of 41, Id assume she is closer to 50, unless I knew better and might draw the line there.

I suppose for some girls, reviews take priority to the details they supplied in her profile.
But still, I was new and nobody knew me and I never once got a complaint about my profile age. If anything, I was generally told that my pics are really bad in comparation to what I am like, and this is a nice compliment to get.

I was aware of lot of girls make themselves look younger and to be honest this is the reason I felt compelled to do it myself. If you tend to ad about 5 - 10 years to each age you see declared, I was afraid that saying my real age will be a desaster.

Yes, Alicia, it is a big problem in many cases, when indeed they do look like they are much older then the age they give and / or their pics. But if they are 40 and look like 27, good for them I'd say, people wouldn't be that annoyed.

First off a gentleman never discusses a ladies age and when we do the default setting is she's lying so I revert back to a gentleman never discusses a ladies age for fear he might catch her out on her lie.

James hit the nail on the head, when looking at a ladies age on her profile I and obviously other like minded guys categories them into age groups, take 28, I would put that age into a category 30-35, so you changing to 36 isn't really a shocker.

Age is important to me as I like em young. But to many others it doesnt seem to be an issue.
