Competitor sites

Can Managers explain what is and is not a competitor site ? Is is only other Irish escort sites that you cant post links here, is is all Irish and UK sites ? Is is all other escort sites full stop ?

I am asking this because I was pming someone today and as part of that I browsed a world escort site that most of my fake reports came from for first time in a few weeks and in 10 minutes found a few profiles here using pics from there, this world site has not a single Irish profile as far as I can see and only a tiny few UK ones, its mostly far flung corners of the world.

If more people knew about this site who were interested to report fakes a lot more fake pics reports would follow because tineye will never get a hit there or least I failed to. This world site has over 150 pages and 15 or more profiles on each but each one has to be eye balled to match to profiles here.

I dont know am I allowed to post its link so can Managers please tell us are world escort site links allowed here and if not where is the line in the sand ?

I agree with googleplex on this matter, looking forward to E-I coming up with some proper rules about this. Just keep in the back of your minds that when we all started out using this site we looked at the irish competition and obviously decided that this one was the best. I think the size of the community here speaks volumes, so E-I shouldn't worry about posting necessary links to other sites when it's a matter of outing a fake profile.

Just look at the situation with An Don last week, I don't think a single poster was on the side of E-I during that argument, not because we don't give a damn about this place but because we have all invested time and effort into making this forum what it is and that also reflects on the main site too.

Its closed so I just want to get the green light on what I am asking here thats not covered on his thread. Its great that we can now post links to compeditor sites only when its to prove a fake and I agree its better to contact them first but I still am unclear if its ok to post a link to another world site that is being used a lot by fakers to source pics.

The rules say that it can be done if its in the interests of improving things and not to promote anyone escort, the links I want to put up are to the entire site, not any one profile and these sites are not Irish or UK. They are packed with profiles that are used here over and over again and any that I reported were always activated but for one person to go through such large sites is not possible but if the link to site was allowed lots of people could do this and many hands would make light work.

I thank Managers for explaining the rules about individual profiles from other sites but I would just like to know would links to an entire site be allowed so that we could all chip in and improve things a lot ? I stress that these sites are not in direct competition to this site in any way. Unless people are planning to go to Dubai as thats where most are.

I saw a feature on another forum that blocks certain sites, anyone posting a link to it comes a cropper, ei could do that as they know the ones they dont want posted but we still dont know and in fairness they cant post a list as thats defeating the whole point.

I think thew best thing to do would be for you to pm a manager with that world link before you would post it.
