    Well there is nothing like being firm, I am not a soft touch and a woman of the world, and have dealt with my fair share of lifes challenges, and ive always found firm but fair is the best way!

    Plus firm is much better than flacid and soft

    Yes, Jackie, being firm but fair is admirable, I appreciate that

    But you need to be a little more flexible in your judgements too.

    In a metaphorical way: people who steal bread out of hunger are not really thiefs.
    Same type of action shouldn't always bring the same kind of punishment, as the devil is indeed in the little details.
