    Default Biffo steps down

    In the last few minutes Brian Cowen has resigned as leader of FF.
    Something he should have done a long time ago but better late than never I guess.

    The fianna fail party is pretty much on its knees and i feel that senior tds forced him out in the end as no doubt they would be slaughtered in the general election polls.It is in my view that he will go down as the most inept individual and most hated man since cromwell....

    He stays on as Taoiseach but the election will be led by another person as FF leader. I was watching the press conference, he looked almost relieved, and even cracked a couple of jokes.
