Although not horror, The Road has some scenes in it that are disturbing and makes you think about how you would survive in a post-apocalyptic time

Dawn of the Dead-Zack Snyder remake, awesome zombie movie

Fallen-Denzel Washington. Fantastic horror film but really fucken downbeat

Jacob Ladder-Tim Robbins. Head wrecking film but a top notch horror.
