Ennis would be a good base to start with, loads of rural scenery to be seen and you're not far away from Limerick which I'm sure would have some sort of swinging scene going. If there's nothing happening again you're only a short spin away from Galway but you wouldn't be traveling back on the same day..

there is a lot more swinging going than you might think... i have been at a few"parties" in dublin and belfast. Mainly through contacts I made on sdc or adultfriendfinder. There are couples i have met that are swinging every wkd! well for some!
Generally you need to have a female accomplice to attend these parties or to get any interest.
Also there is ALOT of time wasters on these sites... so it takes alot of time and effort to find genuine people. Its not like you can sign up and get some action when you feel like it!!!
