    Default Reviewers??

About a year ago I contacted admin with a question about all the new profiles that I noticed were being created late at night all with a single digit either before or after the chosen name, at the time I got the reply that they were being looked at and deleted as they go up, I thought no more about it but of late I have noticed an awful lot of reviews being submitted by guys with the same username pattern, one digit either before or after.
This may be a coincidence but it's a very big one if it is, personally and I said it at the time I thought someone or group were creating banks of profiles and I said they possibly could leave them sitting for a while without using them so that when they do the age of the profile would make them look more genuine, it just looks very suspect to me when I know all these profiles were created over a period of time sometimes 5-10 a night. Maybe now that we have managers they could look into this in more detail and maybe they were not created for spamming the boards which was also the reason I was given but for the very purpose I am saying, submitting dubious reviews..

    Damn it, I'm busted.
I fit the profile. I created my username with a single digit before and after my name !
And I did it late at night

But seriously, well spotted if there is a pattern

Yeah, I know what you're saying Anon. Things that grasp our immediate aatention such as the said digits, reviews in broken English, length of time the review is submitted after a review, etc. have all been discussed. John and Highway deal with an average of 300 reviews a week and they do an excellent job at picking up on certain things. However, it's never really clear cut what is actually genuine or not, but we have a seperate forum not visible to the public where we discuss these reviews so the managers do also have an input when there's any doubt.

We do appreciate it when people report anything they feel is not quite right; on occasion the 'reviewer' has been found to have a booking that coincides with another, so this helps too. I hope that is of some comfort to you?

I appreciate that Sam and the amount of time the lads put into the reviews but as individual reviews with no evidence of foul play I'm sure they have no choice but to let them through but when you look at it collectively the bigger picture does look suspicious to me anyway.

Yeah, it can be a nightmare fella! Trust me!

We often do discuss various ways of tackling this problem, so if anyone has any ideas, please do let us know.

We know that at the moment that the review guys pm first time reveiwers to confirm but what if they were to contact escort aswell. I know this is alot of work but i think it might be worth. And for the ladies that arent registered on forum perhaps an email could be sent. Other factors could also be taken in to account with first time reviewers, ie the escorts being reviewed record, when she joined, who has reviewed and maybe if she has other reviews from one timers with no further history on the site.

Contact the escort as well? What if it was a negative review? Do you think they would confirm it?

I never said you inform the escort of the status of the review. And actually i cant see it being a big deal to send 2 emails/pms at the same time as they will be sending one to verify the new user anyways. If you dont get two replies back dont post the review
