I don't think Doozer was trying to provoke or insult you. He might have phrased it better but, by his own admission, his written English has room for improvement. I admire your efforts to get involved on the boards Shirleyy and your use of the English language is something to be proud of. Try not to take everything that's said here to heart.
As for speaking 4 or 5 other languages, I say fair play to you.

If it is obvious in a thread that there is an issue with a poster and a Moderator (never an even playing field) I think it would be better if the Mod concerned stepped out and allowed a colleague to deal with it. Otherwise there will always be accusations of bullying and nepotism.
