Ok lads im going to let down the male side

I rememebr my first time driving in London
I was following the sat nav because being new to teh area I hadnt a clue where anything was in London
Bloody Sat Nav told me to turn left so I did
I ended up going onto the motorway
    The wrong way around
I scared the bejaysus out of me and my passenger

I can laugh about it now though

I've seen plenty female drivers doing silly things but its the males that caused me to pucker up and grip the steering wheel in that feeling we all have had at some time. I had a 40 seat holiday coach bus from UK up my ass for 20 miles even though I was doing the max speed allowed and he should have been doing less then me and was breaking the law. My view is that I am paying to use the road like everyone and so I will use whatever is the best part of the road and not wreaking my shocks going into potholes just someone else can go even further over the limit. Once I am at the limit for that road I will only get out of way for emergency services and Police and if anyone else not happy with that they can take it up with the minister for justice as they decided the limit, not me. If I am doing less then the limit I do get out of the way when its safe but not for assholes who seem to think the limit only applies to other people and not them.

What happened the bus driver ?. Well he spent 20 miles inches from me, flashing lights and waving fists and yelling, all in front of his passengers and aging 10 years in my side mirror but I dont give in to that intimidation and rang the Police further along the road to stop him. They did that I parked up behind him and told them his tackograph might make for interesting reading because dont forget he was driving a holiday coach from UK so probably tailgating everyone else all day everyday and breaking speed limit all day everyday.

I left with the pleasing sight in my mirror of him handing over the tacko to the Police. Its the males that are dangerous on the roads, females may annoy now and then but hardly ever cause accidents, when was the last time you heard of 4 or 5 killed in one car and it was a woman who was driving ? I never have but we hear those situations a few times every year.

I dont like it when people say woman drivers are bad. Its an old saying and a stupid one. Look at the amount of young fellas driving now. One word for them IDIOTS.

TBH when I was younger and first started driving, I was very reckless and fearless when driving, I was a brat at 15 me and a friend stole his parents car and headed to dingle up the connor pass driving like loonies almost got killed a few times that night, looking back on it I realise how stupid we were but that's the way you men act before the wheel, no fear, no experience which often ends up unfortunately with no life....
Took me a long time to grow out of it, I have been to a lot of funerals over the years of young people all men who died on the roads, some good friends, what a waste of life.

I drive and always have drove fast powerful cars, just bought a BMW 335d coupe one of the fastest diesels available, faster than a m3, I bought it if I'm honest because it is so fast and powerful..... But I now have the maturity to handle it, most of the time I Drive at or below the speed limit, faster cars IMO are safer when you have to overtake etc. Rarely do I speed nowadays and if I do it's on a motorway when it's quiet at NI risk to anyone else, speeding? That's what track days are for!!

A lot of the problem are young guys thinking their great driving little civics, fiestas, saxos generally small cars that are not made to drive fast, they push them to the limit, usually on bad roads, which a lot of the time has one outcome, a devastated family.

IMO more should be done to so young ppl both male and female (young women are getting into the same habits as their male counterparts)
Maybe leaving crashed cars on the side of the road where people have been killed, driving classes in schools, bringing them into hospitals to see the results of car crashes or to the likes of headwaves where there is a lot of people who survived crashes but have serious injuries as a result (which we usually don't hear about)

Shock and awe is what's needed!!!! That's all that will get through to young ppl. I'm young enough to remember what it was like and the way I thought when I was younger

Live fast die young..... It's cool..... NOT!!

Just recently everyday when i was driving home home from work there was one fella driving like a lunatic. Everyday i used to see him driving like a complete fool. People who were walking on the paths used to stop with fear he was that bad. He seemed to work close to me and one day i seen him in the local shop so i asked him what he got out of driving like a lunatic and was basically told to f... off. Well i expected that reaction. I would not normally say anything but he was ansd is putting lives at risk. Just winds me up when young people behave like that behind the wheel.

Thats one and one to many but how many thousands have died on or roads and I bet that most were male drivers and most of the multiple victim accidents were young males and driving overloaded small souped up cars late at night.

The level of stupidity on our roads have increased a lot, you only have to see the ads explaining the bleeding obvious that are on tv to see that. I mean how bad must things be they have to explain how to use a roundabout.
