I always use a fake name like the escorts do, after all it is a fantasy not real life. However I had a really strange experience recently when an escort used my real name, which is quite unusual and not common. The chances of her guessing it would be huge. It depends how common or unique your name is. My first name is fairly rare and I am known in my work circles by my first name rather than my surname. I have only met one other person in Dublin with my firstname. Its a little too risky for me to go by my first name given that Dublin (and for that matter the world) is becoming a smaller place by the day.
So I use my middle name, which is a very common name instead. Apart from that I am honest with escorts about everything else - age, family, occupation etc. I like the GFE experience and I think the more honest one is the better the GFE.
