Munich is an unusual city by German standards. Punting is expensive and there are fewer opportunities but, the city does have some real gems.

As with the rest of Germany, prostitution is legal - even on an industrial scale - but there are some local quirks. German law allows a city to specify that certain parts of the city are restricted zones meaning that commercial sex is forbidden. In Munich, the city authorities have ruled that most of the city is such a special zone.

In theory that means that there is no punting at all in the centre. Certainly there are no brothels in the centre.

There are plenty of establishments on the outskirts of town in retail parks or business parks.

I cannot give you any recommendations about these but if you have a look at muenchenladies.de you will see lots of ads from ladies working in such establishments. you will also see ads for these places in the local Munich press.

You can get an outcall to your hotel from ads in the local papers but the quality is mixed - generally poor.

If you want to visit somebody in a private apartment as you might in Ireland that is possible though tricky unless you speak some German. The websites kaufmich.com, nutten.net and taschengeldladies.de all carry such ads and many of the advertisers will also do outcalls. In my experience, the quality of service from ladies from these three sites is stunning. On a five star rating scheme, my worst ever punt with a lady from one of those sites was five out of a maximum of five.

Regarding prices, the usual minimum for an incall to a private apartment is 150E for an hour and outcalls start at 250E for two hours.

You should also be aware that in Munich and the surrounding areas, giving, offering, receiving or requesting OWO is a crime.

Hey Snagil,

Sharkskin has given you top notch advice there. Be careful about persuing OWO as it is illegal.

Munich is a rather expensive city to punt in in comparison to Berlin etc. but not imposs.

Outcalls will be very tricky I feel if you have no knowledge of german. Your bettr off heading down to one of the brothels and choosing.
I'd advise you to probably avoid Leierkasten in Schwabing - the drinks alone will set you back a small fortune. It's huge so offers a large choice of ladies but a little bit of a tourist trap imo. There is a place close to it on the Frankf. Ring called Privat which is a lot better. I think you see photos first and head straight up. The general punt price is the same as Leirkasten but you don't have to drop 100e on drinks first.

If you really want to treat yourself head down to 1001 nights which is like 5 mins away from Bayerstrasse. In my opinion it is has the best looking women in Munich (though I may be a little biased after working there!). But it isn't cheap (ranging from 200-600e a girl) but you get quality for your buck. I know that I used to negotiate depending on a client and what services they were looking for and that was acceptable then.
Try to brush up on basic phrases if you can- it will help you out greatly.
