The truth and worrying trends in reviewing.

Reviews can be used to try to put an escort out of business, and sadly they can also be false. Although I am sure most reviews on here are genuine, not that I ever read any of them!

I rarely get any reviews, but then again I have many, many very happy regular clients who just do not do reviewing.

In the UK it is now illegal to post false reviews. That would be a good court case in our business

If you go to this link and speed to around the middle of the radio show you will hear a very good and honest discussion about the problems of reviews.

My advance is to use them to try and choose one of us, but also remember one mans eye candy is another mans banana skin.

Wouldn't a false negative review already be libellous, even without special legislation? But it would be extremely hard to prove.

That was very interesting charlotte.. may I also add a lot has changed in the uk over sex industry and sex crimes this year.. false accusations from a female can also lead to her going to jail...there has already been someone jailed over lies... lies ruin lifes.. not sure how it is here in ireland though... just thought that should be known as well as some people may not be aware of this..x

I think that we may be in an area now mainly due to wikileaks that the open assess to the internet in reference in this case of reviewing from anyone, which cannot be proven, may have to change by law. The internet is new and still evolving and therefore I believe these systems will have to change. I know that some hotel owners have had a great issue with Trip Adviser and threatened to take them to court for allowing false negative reviews to go up from ex employees and competition. This is happening in all buisness fields as the radio link tells us.

The problem with the reviews for me is the stupitidy of some reviewers who give a negitive review for no GFE when the girls profile says this is not available !!!!
also there should be a 1 to 10 option on overall rather than just positive or negitive !!
and yes, your right there is a lot of things going on with reviews !!
it's ovious there is "cheating the system" with some reviews,
ie. look at the reviews for Jessicajessy in cavan, everyone knows these are false !!
so how do we stop it

That's sound, am all for transparency and honesty.

And we can similarly hope that girls who tell lies about what service they provide or what rate they provide the services at will also be liable for prosecution under trade description legislation.
