Well looks like Gerry Ryan had a bit of a reaction to the cocaine he was snorting
A bit hypocritical really as many the time he pontificated to us on his radio
programme about the ills of Drug use. Seems like his whole life was a mess
as it seems his financial affairs were in total dissaray aswell.
The statement made by his wife Morag after the inquest was very telling

Just about everybody knew is death was related to drugs; Ireland has serious a coke problem; I lived nine months in Baltimore, Maryland, and never once was exposed to the drug, went back to Dublin, and had several offers within four hours after arriving

Sadly, everyone has to die, regardless of your lifestyle choices. However, some choose to live prior to this.

Well we're all druggies when you boil it down, just a matter of indentifying the poison. I think opium was Jonson's drug of choice.

I think calling him a coke head is a bit strong, a user obviously but how much and often is another question. Who knows what pressures drive people to seek refuge in alcohol ,drugs etc. I didn't like him as a journalist/broadcaster but fair is fair, a user obviously but a coke head? unproven.

There is a big diff between cocaine, testosterone and stanazolol. If something goes wrong with stanazolol you might feel sick, long term use of test with shut your own test down and you might have one or two of several other side effects. Basically steroids speed up whatever your prone too. If something goes wrong with cocaine you die or at the very least come very close to it.
