but the bookies win again..in fairness he has a great voice but i preferred her.
This may be a stupid question but do the bookies not prefer favourites not to win as the majority of the bets are usually on the favourite?

not a stupid question mate...just a question from a guy that does not bet.....the favourite in most things is the most likely to win so most ppl betting will back that ...i mean most money...betting ppl think they can "buy money" if you know what i mean.
Yes deff better for the bookies that the favourite dosent win the reason the odds are shorter is because the most of the money is on them therefore if they lose there is more to collect. Dosent make maybe as much diff in a 2 horse race but they will clean up
in something like a horserace if the long odds win
