Maybe I should start a wine club ....... tips on what's good and where to get it when it comes to market. Anyone interested?
I love all well bodied wine.
Unfortunately I am always inclined to drink the delights rather than turning them.

I know wine is one of the best investments at present, but I know I could not help myself!!!!!!

Lidl have a great Chianti Riserva and Soave at the moment and so well priced! There is also a great Champagne on the Lidl shelves ..... ideal for breakfast Bucks Fizz on Christmas morning.

I only got wine from Lidl once before - horrible, although Ruby Port quite nice.

Any suggestion as to current red wine which is good value - Cabernet Sauvignon my favourite by the way

Aldi have a wonderful Cote du Rhone for about €7 and Lidl do a Saint Emillion for about €13 - can't go wrong with either.

At the end of the day buy what you like, if you buy a bottle for a fiver and it tastes nice then go for it!!

Try the Chianti Riserva in Lidl, its 6.99 a bottle. Their Ruby Port is great value and really good
