Between the Arse's lacklustre display, Chelsea gone to pieces, Man Shitty's overpriced prima donnas, a Liverpool gone AWOL, and a seriously average ManUre, this has got to be the worst season since the inception of the Premier League.

I hardly ever watch now - and this from someone who used to be fanatical about football.

Like the doc, it's just rugby for me now - real passion, real excitement.

Well, I didnt mean to launch an existential crisis but some interesting points have been raised:

I'm guessing monkeynut finds any football posting tiresome, sir you are very entitled to your opinion, i respect that

Scotus, look more deeply into your reply: I wonder how much enjoyment sport elicits for you at all, there will be lack-luster rugby games in the future...will this erode your interest in rugby I wonder....

Footie, rugby, snooker, darts, golf....hell even cricket, hell any sport at all, invest your interest, allow your self to become involved, see where it will take you, allow yourself to become passionate. Swings and roundabouts lads, the highs are few and far between, settle in for the long-haul.

I'm a Wicklow supporter, I know what I'm talking about.

An ugly or uninspired win is a win all teh same. Just a part of sports.
