Irish Declaration of Right of Refusal - Signatures

We, the Irish people declare our sovereign right to refuse and reject all negotiations and contracts entered into by the Government of Ireland, with the IMF and the ECB as representative of the wishes of the Irish Nation and its people.

We did not give our Government a mandate to sacrifice the economic and social well-being and resources of the Irish people nor surrender the sovereignty of the Irish Nation, to external powers and authorities. We did not give our government any authority to economically enslave the Irish people for decades to come. We hereby declare that we do not accept the terms, conditions nor binding status of any contracts entered into with the IMF/ECB that do not represent the will of the Irish people.

Furthermore, we claim a right as a free and sovereign nation to remove from public office the current elected Dail representatives who refuse to listen to the Irish people and who did not act in our best economic and social interests. The Government of Ireland and its representatives in these negotiations, have acted solely and exclusively to protect the financial interests of International Banking Institutions, Bond Holders and Market Investors while refusing to consider the basic needs, interests or economic future of the Irish Nation and its people. These negotiations have amounted to political and economic treason by any definition and the senior Irish negotiators who signed these contracts have betrayed the sovereignty of the Irish Nation.

We therefore declare that all contracts negotiated and signed in the name of the Irish people in this regard be rendered null and void as having no legal, economic, social or moral basis and must be prevented from implementation.

We, the Irish People, hereby reclaim our right to self-governance without any foreign interference. The current Government has lost its legitimacy to govern in the interests of the Irish people. We will elect only public representatives who have the political, economic and social interests of the Irish People as their primary objective, as is our democratic right. We demand the right to select and elect those who qualify, right now!

As per the original Proclamation of the Irish Republic:

we declare the right of the people of Ireland to the ownership of Ireland, and to the unfettered control of Irish destinies, to be sovereign and indefeasible. From Article 6 of Bunreacht na hEireann 1937, we hereby invoke and decree, All powers of government, legislative, executive and judicial, derive, under God, from the people, whose right it is to designate the rulers of the State and, in final appeal, to decide all questions of national policy, according to the requirements of the common good.

    Sincerely,

    The Undersigned
