    Post 'here here'... or 'hear hear'

    To be in agreement with something,
    How does it spell ???

    Here here would be like calling a dog.

    Yes, it's "hear hear", not "here here".

    Also, apostrophes do not denote plurals, and if anyone else mixes up "there" and "their", I'm going to hunt and sleigh (ho! ho!) them.

    A shout of acclamation or agreement.
    Origin

    Originated in the British parliament in the 18th century as a contraction of 'hear him, hear him'. It is still often heard there although it is often used ironically these days
