Default George Formen's "lean, mean grilling machine" - opinions pls

    Yeah

Strange topic I know but am v curious on other peoples opinions of the aforementioned. Have had one for about 2 years now, but will bite my tongue for the moment ...

So; good, bad or re-wrap and fob off as a wedding present? Genuinely curious ...

awful, all the taste is taken from the food! it's the perfect device to make good meat taste like dirt and I'm a very decent cook.

P.S. Pouring the lovely juices from the drip tray back over your food does not taste as good as it does in my head

It's a fad. Like, I don't see the point of it. Cut the fat off with a knife if you don't want a fatty piece of meat. Don'tt expect a fancy grill to be any different than a normal drill.

T'was a life saver during my undergrad years. Great for sandwich toasties or chips, crap for steaks and most meats.

Bought one myself a couple of years ago and found it totally useless. Everything is tasteless when used

Only good for making toasted sandwiches. They don't get hot enough to cook anything else.
Tried kebabs in one but the meat just gets boiled.

Actually, I recieved one as an early present from a relative a couple of days ago! Very happy with it, and as it grills and drains the fat, it's very healthy! It has gone along side the slow cooker Jackie gave me last week

The fun never ends here at E-I! LOL!
