    Question Q about Irish ppl.

    Why do Irish say something that is of bad news and actually be happy and content saying it?

    i dont get it,

    I know a man who is never as sad as when he hears good news ...and thrives on spreading news about the lad down the road that lost his job wife and house(careless fella lol)

    too many people over here are terrible begrudgers, they hate it when others have more than themselves or do better in life, they just can't take it. I have seen people behave in absolutely deplorable ways towards others that they perceive as smarter, better looking or better off financially. They just want these people knocked off their perch so they can see what it's like to have done nothing with your life.
