My advice to any clients using the reviews system:
- Read the reviews. Don't just look at the green and red crosses and the rats in the reviews list, but really read individual reviews. There is no substitute for that.
- You won't be able to identify all the fake reviews. Don't even try. Look for genuine reviews instead. There is a small minority of reviewers I trust. Of the others, some are fake and some are genuine, but I don't expect to be able to sort out which are which.

That's what I do, and I imagine most or all of the forum contributors.

But I suspect the vast majority of people who use this site are casual users, as I was for a long time, who won't read the forums, and just glance at the reviews.

So I can sense the frustration of the escorts, especially as common sense will say that certain reviews are false, but it cannot be proven.

Can I ask how you check i.p`s.. here is something we all know... all it takes is a banned user.. a girl... a pimp... to go into an internet cafe and make a new profile... now will their i.p addy not then be different... it can not always be a pricise action the checking of i.p`s...xx

You don't need to do that, there are websites that specialize in hiding your IP address, and programs to generate random ones. We are all seriously aware that the Review system has a few issues .There is nothing that can at this moment be done about it, except what everyone is doing, which is to keep calling attention to the problem.

There will always be a huge number of fake reviews, this is inevitable.
Personally I will just scan the reviewer names and read the ones from people who I recognise from the forum. Even dannyboys !

Okay guys, I've looked into this and I can't find anything to suggest that this reviewer is a fake.

As John, Angel and Violette have said, IP checks aren't always the most reliable source to work from, and investigations do need to go a lot deeper than that. If an IP is mobile, it's often nigh-on impossible to tie profiles together, however we do use other means to find fake reviewers and trolls.
