Default Did anyone ever chip their diesel…

Well I just did and let me tell ya…WOW..

I moved from 205bhp to nearly 250bhp, and also an increase of 90nm torque (don’t quite understand the 90nm torque bit, but I do understand bhp…way hay). How the fcuk do they do that. And why is not your motor tuned to this extent when you buy it.

Taking off at traffic lights, tis like shit off a shovel. It’s supposed to give better MPG as well but I think I have to stop playing with the new found power first…lol.

Did a Range Rover and an ML.
Threw it away after a while.
The ML gearbox didn't like it and the Range Rover wasn't as good on diesel and was smelly.

I think the re-chip turns up the amount of turbo boost allowing more fuel. So I cannot see how they could be better on fuel.

Also I won't do it again as I'm worried about warranty implications

Interesting!!! So how did you go about this?? did a mechanic do it for you or can it be done yourself?
